A 2008 Perspective on the Future of Search Marketing

This very special SEMNE event consists of an esteemed panel of search marketers with a variety of different backgrounds and experiences who will present their thoughts and provide their perspective on the future of search marketing.

Each panelist will provide a short introduction as to where they see search marketing heading, and then the floor will be opened up for questions from the audience.

Panelists include search marketers from agencies both large and small, as well as in-house internet marketing managers at various companies.

Panelist Bios:

Amanda G. Watlington is Owner of Searching for Profit a search marketing consultancy focusing on the interaction of the consumer with businesses using search engines, RSS, blogs, podcasting or other new media to deliver their message. An industry thought leader and an internationally recognized speaker, Amanda has led conference sessions on search marketing, web strategy and social media.

Abe Mezrich – Managing communications for Didit, New York, Abe Mezrich shares crucial online insights at conferences, universities, and professional gatherings across North America. Prior to joining Didit in 2005, Abe worked in online and offline communications in healthcare, CPG, and new software/technology. He holds a BA in Political Science from Yale.

Julie Mason is the general manager of Kellysearch.com US, a B2B vertical search engine, and a division of Reed Business Information. Julie brings more than 19 years of marketing and sales experience to the company, with a decade of experience in online B2B marketing.

Matt Evans is SEO Manager for Monster.com. Prior to joining Monster in 2006, Matt spent over six years in both client services and operations roles with the search engine marketing agency, iProspect. He holds a BS in Business Administration with a major in Marketing/MIS and a concentration in Human Behavior from Babson College.
