About the Speaker

Ross Lasley was on the web before “www” even existed – and he has been working on “websites” since he was 10. In 1996, at the age of 22, Ross founded the web development company, KISS Computing, with the help of his wife, Amy, who is a graphic artist. Started from a home office, the company grew to be Cape Cod’s number one web development firm, and garnered a number of awards.

After selling the business and moving to their rural Maine farm in 2006, Ross subsequently started The Internet Educator to help entrepreneurs and web professionals learn what they need to know to create more profitable websites. Since the early 1990’s, Ross has worked on the websites of thousands of businesses. His efforts have generated more than $100 million in online sales for his clients.

Ross was a speaker at 2009 Internet Retailer Conference and Exposition, the 2009 Discover New England Conference, and he has been invited to present at the Maine Governor’s Conference on Tourism, which will be held in February of 2010.

About the panelists

Tim Dineen has been an Internet marketer for more than 10 years. He’s gone from doing general web promotion and development in 1997 when he started the full-service interactive agency Exposure.com and worked in Internet consulting to many small and large businesses across a variety of industries.

John Nero is vice president for public relations and integrated services at Tiziani Whitmyre, a marketing services and strategies agency in Sharon, Mass. He works primarily with technology clients, integrating traditional public relations strategies into integrated online marketing campaigns. He began his communications career as a career information specialist and writer, developing counselor training content, occupational profiles for Career World magazine and features for regional business publications. He is co-author of College Degrees for Adults, (Beacon Press). He holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Connecticut and a master’s degree in education from the University of Rhode Island.

Patrick O’Malley Patrick O’Malley loves and lives LinkedIn, but that doesn’t mean he’s boring. He does keynote speaking, training, and consulting on Internet Marketing, including Google SEO, PPC, Twitter, Facebook and social media. Previously, he was the VP of Operations for the search engine that was tied with Google for best search engine in the year 2000 (Northern Light). His phone number is actually 617-PATRICK, which he still thinks is the coolest thing.
