Our Getting Into Google networking event featuring Dan Crow from Google could not have gone any better! Nearly 100 SEMNE members and non-members alike drove from all over New England to the Providence Marriott to exchange ideas, learn from each other (and Google!), and network.

Many arrived early as traffic was lighter than expected, so there was plenty of time to get to know one-another before the bulk of the crowd arrived. We were also a field trip for 15 grad students and their professor from Cambridge College!

We recognized a lot of search marketers from the previous events, and were thrilled to see so many new faces as well.

Dan Crow, director of crawl systems from Google, was extremely gracious as he made his way through the crowd during the networking half of the evening.

There were plenty of drinks and food and good conversation to go around, and it appeared that a good time was had by all.

It was clear that the crowd definitely came to hear what our Google representative had to say as they dutifully stopped their networking on the dot at 7:30 without anyone even asking them to!
